Orientation

Within the psychotherapy profession, a number of "modalities", or approaches to therapy are considered standard practice.  Each therapist is generally oriented to the primary use of one or two of these approaches, depending on his or her education, preferences, and track record of success.

Through the use of the following approaches, I have successfully collaborated with my clients to achieve quantum improvements in their lives:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - A problem-solving, collaborative therapy;  learning how to overcome your struggles by changing your thinking, behavior and emotional responses to evoke your inner power for life-long solutions.

Family Systems Therapy - Understanding one's self within the context of your interpersonal relationships, both past and present.

Integrative - A collaboration between therapist and client using various methods of therapy to create a customized treatment plan that encompasses different, complimentary techniques and methods to solve issues.
